Do you watch the series entitled 'Touch'? Its about a little boy with autism named Jake who has never spoken a word and cannot bear to be touched. His father (played by Kiefer Sunderland) tries to communicate with him via numbers or patterns.
I find the story fascinating and some of the statements made in the epilogue and prologue of each episode very intriguing. And it's made even more so when the statement is 'voiced' by Jake base on his astute observation.
In each episode, Jake would send his father into an adventure and solve the problem base on the clue that Jake gave him. And most of the time the story will be connected to one or two 'stories' in other part of the world. It's interesting how this one work out. Can you just imagine something that you do right this minute may trigger some event on the other side of the world? If you think of the world as a single stage then it is certainly possible!
There was one episode where he said at the end about the power of prayer and the voice of many. I think everyone can relate to that.
Anyway, it's on Fox channel every Sunday at 9 pm. In case anyone want to watch.
Good night peeps!
