As promised you will find some of my favorite photos taken during my adventure to Perth. My second girl who happened to be on her term break for a week went along with me and became my body guard, tour guide (as planning the itinerary for each day)as well as my model for my photography (to make the photos more "alive"). A scenery photos no matter how beautifully captured will be just another pretty postcard pic without a "subject".
Anyhow, the photos below are arranged accordingly to the places that we went while we were in Perth. Most of the places of interest that we went to were decided upon by Syaza after her intense google search prior to our departure. Right up to how to get there. And back. of course. Fortunately Perth offered a good transport system and we were able to get by with not much of problem. It helped tremendously too that the locals are more than happy to extend a helping hand. All the bus drivers and train officers (or whatever you call them) that we encountered were ever so very friendly
The first destination was Fremantle. The day was forecasted to be wet on occasion so we were ready with umbrellas and jackets. We were on the look out for the Market and the famous fish and chip shop.
The next day was decided to be an indoor destination as it forecasted to rain. We went to Hillary Harbour where there is an aquarium. Creatures of the sea are always a joy to "be with".
On Monday a friend who works in Perth offered to show us around Perth and took us to Kings Park. It was a bright sunny day, just the right day day to spend in a park.
Later on we had enough time to visit the Zoo. We came back on the ferry back to town and pass by the Bell Tower. From the ferry we get a good view of the city skyline (picture below)
The next day was the much awaited trip to Caversham Wild life Park. This is the place that tourist must go if you want to be up close and personal with the local animals namely the Koalas and Kangaroos. But don't forget the wombats too.
The next 3 days, we had the golden opportunity to go for a short trip to the south of Perth to the town named Busselton. My host and former classmate took the trouble to stop along the way to capture the sight and view. It was such a memorable trip. There are so many wonderful photos from this journey that I shall have a specila feature on its own later on.
We were back in Perth on Friday in time for the wedding reception the following day. It was a beautiful day for a garden wedding and it was a beautiful wedding in deed. And we even had some time in the afternoon for a last stroll in Perth city as well as a little last minute shopping.
All in all, it was a tremendously enjoyable trip, a lot more fun than I thought it would be.
Would certainly like to be back for more adventure some day. InsyaAllah
