Beni Millal

It was just a short stop over on our to Fez. Enough time to take a walk in a park before lunch.

A common sight is the rows of tangerine trees lining up the street. The bright orange fruit in contrast with the green leaves make them pretty decorative. I wondered why the public do not pick the fruits until I was informed that the fruits are sour. Different from the ones they serve on the table. 😣

After a delicious Moroccon lunch, we departed towards our destination. We also stopped in Ifraine, a so called Swiss town because of the European archicture. It was dark when we got there hence we were not able to appreciate the beauty of the tourist place. And it was also rather chilly as the holiday town is a hill resort.

I am sure that it would be better if we arrived during the day but alas nightfall came early in this season.

Well another time perhaps? Better luck next time!
