Munich Germany-Neuschwanstein Castle

Of all the photos that I have taken on this trip my favourites are from this particular day when we visited Neuschwanstein Castle. We made our way to the castle when it was still dark and when we were getting nearer to the destination the scene was surreal. I was thinking that it will not be often that I get to see the beautiful hills in the morning mist like this. Its was such a delightful panorama that I shall cherish this day. Masya-Allah. 

There is a little village at the bottom of the hill where we had to catch the shuttle bus to go the castle. The bus only took us halfway and we had to walk a short distance up the hill to reach the castle ground.

The short walk in the early morning was pleasant in the cool and crisp air that we reached the castle ground in no time at all. We were not allowed to take photos of he interior of the castle though so what you see below are the exterior and the surrounding lush green hill.

                       

There was a balcony from which we can take photos from and the view from up there was pretty amazing! 

And we get to see more amazing view much later as we walk down the hill to the bus stop. 

We explored the little village a bit more once we got down. And later we brought our packed lunch and fed our hungry tummy while our eyes feast on the serene view.  

Despite the cold weather we had an immensely wonderful day. It's definitely a memorable ending to the trip to Eastern Europe.
